The economy will not progress until science develops. To do this, it is necessary to combine science and innovation, production and business. In other words, commercialization is necessary. In Almaty, scientists, heads of start-up projects and business representatives met and shared ideas on the topic of technological commercialization reactors. “If projects carried out by scientific funds find investors, the probability of obtaining funding will increase,” said the organizers.

Bakht Tustipova tried to explain the project to the audience as simply as possible. We make jelly from melon and Jerusalem artichoke. People with eczema can safely eat confectionery products. And ordinary melons have the ability to remove toxic substances from the human body.

Bakhyt Tustipova, PhD student in Chemical Sciences:
– Jerusalem artichoke contains inulin, an insulin analog. It reduces the sugar content. And winter melon is called anti-aging in our country, it is anti-aging. Natural raw materials have their own unique flavor. No need to add spices. No need to add paint. You can make fillings for candy products.

Ten other projects were presented at the event. Among them, there are scientific and technological developments such as purification of gases containing hydrogen sulfide, anti-icing products, making pharmaceutical preparations, etc. The dialogue forum aimed at supporting scientists is held four times a year. It includes chemistry, natural sciences, physics, mechanics and mathematics. This time it was specifically aimed at the field of chemistry.

Almas Gauhar, Head of the Centre for Commercialisation and Creative Industries:
– JSC “Science Fund” will have its own competition. The name of the project is “Finance of Commercialization Projects”. That is, each scientist can apply for and win up to 350 million tenge.

Previously, about 15 projects involving commercialization have been financed. Of course, for this, scientists must prove the commercial value of the project. If science and business are combined, the efficiency and competitiveness of the economy will be improved.
