In both cases, a valid Venezuelan ordinary passport and a visa issued by the Peruvian Consulate must be presented.
The update of entry requirements for Venezuelan citizens standardizes the treatment provided to all persons coming from countries that require a visa. It also reduces the risks associated with entry and exit controls without security measures for documents such as passports and visas.

“One-time recognition of requests for change of immigration status to Venezuelan foreigners whose passports have expiredprovided that their last entry into the country was before the entry into force of this resolution and that they remain on the national territory, and subject to compliance with the other requirements and conditions inherent in each procedure.“, specify the resolution.
Furthermore, it is provided that the Technical Management and Migration Supervision Authority and the Migration Registration and Control Authority shall, where appropriate and within their competence, issue supplementary provisions to the provisions of this resolution.
