He made the remarks at a press conference held by the Global Power Alliance.
The leader of Pivithuru Hela Urumya further commented as follows.
Unity and unification
It is a waste of resources to field three candidates in the upcoming presidential election: Ranil from the UNP, Sajith from the Samaj Balaveja Party and Anura from the National Jana Balaveja Party.
Instead, it was enough to take word for word from the three names of the three alliances, form a coalition called “United Forces”, and put forward a candidate.
These three are the same
Why do I say that? The policies of these three are the same. The economic policies of these three are all cross-vine bridges. The political policies of these three are to divide the country according to ethnicity and race, to legalize racism, and to create a country that will always burn with the flames of racism.
As Julie Chang and Elizabeth Haws have argued, the foreign policy of all of them is to rule the country.
If it is the same carrot, one makes sambora, one makes jeera and one makes chilli. The end result is the same. In other words, even if Ranil Gurupata is put in a bottle, Sajith is put in a green bottle and Anura is put in a red bottle, all these bottles contain the same poison. If you drink it, the lady luck will die. Instead of changing the bottle for a nation that is depressed because of the bottle change, change the drink and put Jaya drink in these bottles.
It was with this hope that six hundred and nine hundred thousand people came together and defeated the good government led by these three people and formed a government. Unfortunately for the country, we surrendered the country and the leaders broke our hopes and surrendered the country to the leaders of our enemies and then fled.
Our way forward
We cannot stop dreaming about our motherland because the one who saved the country shattered our hopes. We cannot stop planning for the future of our motherland. If that is the case, we cannot tarnish the future hopes of the 60 million people who voted for us. In that case, we should correct our mistakes and start again. We must start from the beginning and move forward until the future plans we have made in front of the whole country take root.
On the contrary, if anyone thinks that we should hand over the country to Ranil, Sajith or Anura, the leaders of the good government whom we defeated in 2019, and take the country back to 2015, I say no one will think so if you love this country.
We remind you that if you are one of the sixty-nine lakhs and still love your motherland, you should be with us in Nugegoda.
