iciHaiti-Taiwan: Ambassador Wen Jianguo ends mission

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, the Presidential Transition Council (CPT) held a ceremony at Villa d’Accueil to celebrate the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) to Haiti, Wen Jianjun, marking the end of his diplomatic mission to Haiti.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Gao expressed his deep gratitude to the Haitian government for its close cooperation with Taiwan during his tenure. He emphasized the deep friendship between Haiti and Taiwan and reiterated that Haiti is committed to maintaining and strengthening this cooperation despite ongoing security challenges.
The diplomat assured that under his successor, Taiwan’s cooperation will continue with the aim of optimizing joint efforts with all Haitian parties in the current difficult circumstances.
