iciHaiti – PNH Southeast: Marijuana fields destroyed

This week, the Southeastern Police Department destroyed a marijuana field measuring about half a square mile (more than half a hectare) in the Bois Codène area of the Baie d’Orange public domain in the town of Belle-Anse.
The intervention was jointly carried out by agents of the Bureau for Combating Drug Trafficking (BLTS), the South-East Judicial Police Department (SDPJ-SE) and the Department for Maintaining Order (UDMO South-East).
During the intervention, the suspect in the case managed to escape.
According to information available to the judicial and police authorities, the plantation is the work of Alexandre Renoir, who lived in Pétionville.
