However, the Egyptian journalist soon opened a new account, emphasizing that he would not remain silent about the atrocities committed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.
He also made it clear that attempts to intimidate and silence him would not succeed.
He wrote on Twitter: “They tried to intimidate me and block me, they tried to eliminate viewpoints they didn’t know how to respond to… These attempts pushed me to persist even more and pushed me to know this. My viewpoints and my cause are the right cause, and their cause is a lost and unjust cause.”
He added in another tweet: “I’ve said before I’m not a fighter but I will not surrender.”
