Saeed: I will not accept public funding or any funding
The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, went on Thursday, August 1, 2024, to the headquarters of the Tunisian Ministry of Public Finance, where he deposited a security deposit as part of his candidacy for the presidential elections of October 6, 2024.
In a statement forwarded by the Tapu Agency, the Head of State confirmed that he had not previously or currently accepted public funds and would not accept any funds from anyone.
Kais Saied said the financial guarantee worth 10,000 dinars he provided when running for the 2019 presidential election was provided voluntarily by young people and was a loan.
