The defendant’s lawyer filed a motion for bail of 5,000 sari in court today, but the court did not approve the motion and continued to detain Totolashvili.
The prosecutor in the case spoke of the motive of revenge and said that some of the victim’s behavior was unacceptable to the defendant, which is why the 19-year-old boy decided to punish him.
On August 24, a bloody massacre took place in Fornichara – the 19-year-old defendant, disguised and wearing winter clothes, reportedly stabbed two citizens, a 21-year-old boy in the artery, and another 21-year-old boy stabbed a 21-year-old boy. The seven-year-old girl stuck out her tongue, after which he fled the scene.
He was charged under articles 19, 108 (attempted murder) and part 1 of article 120 (intentional slight injury to health) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which carry a sentence of 10 to 15 years’ imprisonment.
