Paul Kagame, who is running for President of the Republic as the candidate proposed by the RPF-Inkotani, said that at his age and among his peers, there are sometimes opportunities to become a member of the RPF-Inkotani.

He went on to say that RPF is more than just a three-letter word. He said: “FPR is more than just three letters, it is a policy of a way of thinking, a way of living, a way of working, about how people should live and progress in order to reach where others have reached in the past, reach them and if possible surpass them.”

He asked the youths not to waste time and to fight for the development of the country. He said: “We will not waste this, especially the young people, we want to educate them to understand the militant policies of the RPF and fight for the security and development of our country.”

Kagame said no one in the world should be proud. “But if you ask yourself how one person is different from another, whether in Rwanda, in neighbouring countries, in Europe or in other wealthy countries, they have achieved a lot.

He sought to ask the RPF youth to be bold in what they are doing. He said, “Inkotani, the youth of the RPF among Rwandans today, should look someone in the face and dare to tell him that he is not your God, this is the work of the RPF”.

He went on to say that no one can criticize what has been built because he will never be satisfied with what happens to him.

He also went back to some places that took advantage of Rwandans in an evil way. He said: “Some people are used, they do miracles for them, they deceive them because they will protect them from aging, they invest their spirits but they get nothing, they are just tools. Let’s look at our country, look at ourselves, know each other, know that the good that happens to one person should happen to all of us in this country, leaving others nothing but to live in harmony with them, to make peace, but if you want peace, be ready to protect it, we are ready to protect it”.

He went on to say that security will be followed by a good policy that leaves no one behind in development activities and people live without fear, fighting on the roads, wanting food, education or life-giving things should become a history of the past for all Rwandans who remain in the country.

RPF Chairman Inkotani said that this matter started a long time ago and there are still a few days left to elect the right candidate for Rwanda. He said, “If you vote for me, you will vote for the RPF and I will be there. I am who I am because of you, and others will be you because of me.”

Paul Kagame told the residents of Bugesera district that they were holding ceremonies across the country but the lion should lead the others. He stressed that the people of Bugesera like all other Rwandans deserve development and a good life and many other good things are still on the way.

He ended the ceremony by thanking those who came to his event to promote his candidacy for the presidency, saying that joining the Inkotani Lions was a good thing for them and would remain so for a long time.
