Hashnet:

Houthi militias have targeted judges and prosecutorial employees in Yemen’s central Ibb province and transferred them to Sana’a with the aim of forcing them to undergo sectarian mobilization courses.

According to judicial sources, Houthi militias began evacuating employees of the provincial prosecution and transferring them to Sana’a to undergo mandatory sectarian courses.

Sources said the course is scheduled to start today, Thursday, and will last for a week, with the first phase targeting heads, agents, members and employees of the Appellate Prosecution Office.

Human rights activists and campaigners have condemned militias for obstructing prosecutors, saying it prolongs the pendency of cases and increases suffering for those in dispute.

Since the coup, the Houthi militias have been conducting a series of so-called “cultural courses” for judges, employees and all state officials, focusing on continued sectarian mobilization and promoting a culture of violence and extremism.
