House Oversight Committee Chairman James Cuomo (R-Ky.) is investigating who really “calls the shots” under President Joe Biden, issuing subpoenas to three little-known White House staffers while trying to determine whether a “shadow government” has been in place during this period.
Cuomo attended Breitbart Saturday News.
“I mean, I think it’s clear that he can’t serve as president again, let alone for another four years, and we’re all asking the question: ‘Who’s really in control? Who’s pulling the strings?'” he said, noting that Republicans, using their sources, including disgruntled Democrats, identified three White House staffers who Cuomo called “Biden gatekeepers” who were “protecting Biden” from Cabinet secretaries and the mainstream media.
“They protected him from a number of people who probably would have sounded the alarm bells a week ago that Joe Biden was mentally incapable of serving as president. So we subpoenaed them. No one, including myself, had ever heard of any of these three individuals until it was determined that we were going to subpoena them. We’re going to bring them in, ask them questions, find out if there was indeed a cover-up, number one, and number two, worse, determine if there was a deep state,” Cuomo continued, because it was clear, he said, “that Biden has not been in power for a very long time.”
“After three years of Joe Biden, Watergate looks no different than jaywalking,” Cuomo said, noting that the media and the “deep state” have been covering up financial crimes that the Biden family has been committing “for over two decades.”
Cuomo stressed his belief that White House staff had covered up Biden’s leadership because he said they may have worked with the White House physician to “create a false narrative, not just a cover-up.”
Cuomo said he believes concerns about the shadow government are one reason some Democrats have begun to call on Biden to drop out of the race. He also said they are concerned about former President Donald Trump having a legitimate chance to return to the White House.
Cuomo predicted that the truth will come out one way or another.

“The difference between the investigation that we’ve just begun and the Biden bribery investigation is that there are a lot of people who are willing to participate. There has been a lot of reporting, a lot of prominent Democrats have come forward to describe the fact that… they believe Joe Biden cannot pass the cognitive test,” the congressman said.
“Think about the duties of the president of the United States and the decisions he makes every day — who is making those decisions? I mean, the White House has acknowledged that the president only works between eight and four — and I think that’s a little bit of an exaggeration — but you know, a lot of things happen before eight in the morning and after four in the afternoon,” Cuomo said, describing it as a national security issue.
“The reason Cabinet secretaries are confirmed by the Senate is so that the American people can see who they are, what they think and what they stand for, and determine if they are competent. If we have three or four low-level staffers who have been deciding what weapons to send to Ukraine, how to issue executive orders to restrict drilling, which will cause gas prices to go up, which will cause more inflation — if these three or four staffers that no one has ever heard of have been making these decisions, then I think there are a lot of people who need to be held accountable,” Cuomo said, noting that the mainstream media has also been involved as some celebrities “attacked any Republican who suggested that Joe Biden was not in good health, even as we were trying to get Robert Hull to release the tapes.”
Ultimately, Cuomo explained, the tables have turned because most members of Congress are only concerned with self-preservation, and now feel their future is in “jeopardy” because of Biden’s weakness as a presidential candidate.
“I think they’re going to start talking, and if they’re defeated, I think they’re going to talk more. So we’re getting a lot of sources and the investigation is moving swiftly as to who was calling the shots and who was involved in the cover-up,” Cuomo said.
Asked what accountability would look like, Cuomo said, “The accountability aspect would look like sending people who have committed serious crimes to jail.” At a minimum, he said, it would involve removing these bad actors from the government payroll.
