Hossam Habib arrested for alleged assault of Shereen

Hossam Habib appeared before the investigating authorities in Cairo and issued a statement accusing artist Sherine Abdel Wahab of beating her and causing her injuries in a “studio” in the fifth settlement, according to a police report.

The personal lawyer of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, legal advisor Yasser Kantoush, and her official spokesperson confirmed in a press statement that the report written by the artist today against her ex-husband, the artist Hossam Habib, has not been waived, indicating that the settlement has not been concluded and the waiver has not taken place.

Shereen told the investigation that she went to the joint recording studio with Hossam Habib to discuss the business partnership, dissolve the partnership, and collect dues.

She said she was surprised that Hossam beat her, swore at her and kicked her out of the “studio” without giving her her personal belongings. Shereen filed a report against Hossam Habib, accusing him of beating her.
