Michael Soto, deputy director of the Bureau of Judicial Investigation (OIJ), confirmed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents captured the Honduran in Fresno, California.
Rodriguez Wood is wanted by Honduran authorities for murder, drug trafficking and money laundering.

Soto confirmed that Interpol, the international police organization, had issued a red alert for Hondurans due to arrest warrants issued by Honduras and Costa Rica.
The deputy director of the OIJ confirmed that Rodriguez Wood was in a relationship with a Costa Rican woman and owned several properties in the city of Limon.
According to Costa Rican authorities, the “La H” gang is at war with another criminal organization in Limon led by drug trafficker Tony Peña Russell.
Soto said he would coordinate with Honduran and U.S. authorities to extradite Rodriguez Wood to the First Country. silver
