Holiday homes make every day feel like the weekend

The villa in Thu Duc City was designed and completed by architect Minh Nguyen’s team.

Architect Minh Nguyen said that the Wabi-Sabi style advocates simplicity, spontaneity and simplicity in life. When combined with modern style, the space brings a new picture and a high level of beauty.

The owner hopes that the new living space will create a feeling of relaxation and closeness to nature, so that every member who returns home can get enough rest and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

With this as the theme, architect Minh Nguyen brings the homeowners a relaxing space at home, full of sunlight, natural breeze or cool green skylights, and a swimming pool sparkling with tropical colors, allowing them to “relax” in the villa every weekend.

Entering the house is a combination of skylights and tropical greenery, creating a cozy feeling.

The architects combined sustainable natural elements such as wood, stone, metal as well as the unevenness from different material surfaces and modern lines. Everything creates a comfortable and luxurious living space.

The main colors of the project are white, gray and brown. The soft lines of wabi-sabi make the space more gentle, natural and simple.

Next to it is the dining room, which features minimalist furniture and soft, neutral tones.

The kitchen has the largest open space, with natural light in every corner. The highlight is that the kitchen island uses a natural granite surface, which is hard, durable, stain-resistant, and suitable for kitchen use.

It took the crew about 10 months to build a new villa.

The area under the stairs is used to plant plants, making the space greener and less empty.

There are additional chairs on the deck for people to relax, appreciate nature and read a book.

The bathroom is mixed with the toilet, separating the areas like the Japanese do to ensure hygiene.

The female owner’s bedroom changed a lot of design plans. Initially, she wanted to put a corner desk in the bedroom.

However, she later reconsidered this function, separating the studio from the library to prevent work from mixing with her personal rest space.
