CityU held the “Hong Kong Tech 300 At the “Southeast Asia Competition” awards ceremony, ten startups from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong, covering the fields of financial technology, deep technology, bio and health technology, information technology and artificial BroadCast Unitedligence, provide solutions for industries such as digital healthcare, energy sustainability, green materials, digital assets and real estate.
Each winning startup will receive angel investment of up to HK$1 million, as well as full support including professional services, business matching and co-investment opportunities.

The award ceremony was attended by the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Dr. Sun Dong, who gave a speech. He said: “Hong Kong is one of the best destinations for start-up development in the world. Through the joint efforts of government, industry, academia and research, a good innovation and technology ecosystem and business environment have been created in the past few years, providing golden opportunities for global start-ups to start or expand their businesses in Hong Kong.” He also affirmedHong Kong Tech 300In addition, Chen Yulin, Director of the Innovation, Technology and Higher Education Division of the Education, Science and Technology Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Xu Guorong, Acting Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong, were also invited to attend the ceremony.

The winner, E3A Healthcare, is from Singapore and focuses on bioinformatics and biosensor technology to develop innovative newborn and women’s healthcare devices.
