Health listens to people’s concerns about bureaucracy returning to zero

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection held a dialogue session with some people of determination to listen to the opinions and observations of a certain category of the Ministry’s customers as part of its efforts to support the implementation of the Government Bureaucracy Zeroing program, which aims to reduce procedures and strive to establish a pioneering user experience in the health sector to achieve the UAE government’s commitment to future services, where the opinions of customers who attend are processed immediately and by officials with full transparency.

The initiative was held at Emirates Towers in Dubai in the presence of Abdullah Al Ahly, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, Mohammed bin Taliyah, Director of Government Services at the UAE Government, and representatives of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, one of the strategic partners involved in the implementation of the ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ initiative.

By involving the category of “People of Determination”, the Ministry aims to design faster and simpler services within the framework of measuring the pulse of customers and allowing them to provide feedback on their experience when conducting transactions, with a view to creating a participatory atmosphere among customers. The Ministry exchanges opinions with customers in order to improve and develop the Ministry’s services and increase their quality level.

Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Olama, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, affirmed that the ministry is committed to supporting the goals of eliminating government bureaucracy and integrating programmes with relevant authorities, which reflects the UAE government’s vision to provide fast and efficient services to the community and enhance the competitiveness and leadership of the national health system.

For his part, Mohammed bin Taliyah, head of the UAE Government Services Department, stressed that People of Determination are a group that is paid attention to and supported by everyone and they are very keen to provide the best quality services tailored to their needs, saying that listening to their opinions will help strengthen the services provided to them.

Abdullah Al Ahli explained that this dialogue session is part of a series of initiatives by the Ministry to engage customers, including People of Determination, to implement the directives of the Ministry’s program to eliminate government bureaucracy by engaging People of Determination, designing faster and simpler services in the context of measuring the pulse of customers and being able to provide feedback on their experience when conducting transactions.

As part of the work to strengthen the implementation of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program, the Department of Health and Community Protection, in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office Government Bureaucracy Zero Program Team, held a workshop to clarify the goals and direction of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program. The program was reviewed and the evaluation criteria, program work system and action plan were clarified.
