Deceiving women, forcing victims to have sex, and extortion by cadres – according to the report of the Special Investigation Department, a total of 11 cases of violation of private life secrets and forced sexual acts were filed.

The agency said that the defendant GK was arrested on March 22, 2024 for blackmailing a 19-year-old victim girl with private life photos. For many years, he lied to women that he was a photographer and invited them to shoot female underwear advertisements. The investigation showed that he invited women to the apartment to work as nannies/caregivers and masseurs.

The investigation report shows that the detainee obtained the victim’s intimate photo and video files by fraudulent means, sometimes threatened to spread intimate photos depicting the secrets of their private lives, forced the victim to perform sexual acts, threw unknown substances in the victim’s drinks, and had sexual intercourse with the victim in a helpless state. During this period, he also secretly and illegally recorded and archived the sexual intercourse process with the victim.

The investigation established that the accused GK for many years, he posted announcements in the Internet space, including in various groups of the social network “Facebook”, falsely claiming to be a photographer and inviting girls to specially selected apartments to take photos for advertising women’s underwear. In addition, in exchange for appropriate remuneration, he invited women to work as nannies/caregivers and massage therapists in the apartments, he introduced himself to interested persons under the names of Nukri Jioshvili and Ivane Jayani, after which he communicated with them and tried to win their trust.

The accused man deceived the victim into taking her to his apartment to organize a so-called court photo session, and obtained the victim’s private photos and video files. After the photo session, the accused tried to continue communicating with the women, sometimes threatening to spread intimate photos depicting their private lives and forcing them to have sex. The accused also threw unknown substances into the victim’s drink, had sex with the victim while she was helpless, and secretly and illegally filmed and archived the sexual intercourse with the victim.

The Special Investigation Division arrested the defendant on March 22, 2024, based on a court ruling, for using a 19-year-old victim girl’s personal life video to blackmail the girl. After a search, the defendant seized more than 5,000 private photos and videos of about 200 women, including secretly recorded video clips that the defendant had illegally obtained over the years.

During the above phase, based on the electronic information in the computer devices studied by the investigation, including photo/video materials, the communications between the accused and the victims, and other investigative activities conducted, 11 victims were identified and he was charged with 11 counts of other breach of confidentiality and coercion of other sexual acts.

GK was charged under part 1 of article 157 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The offence is punishable by up to seven years in prison.

The Special Investigations Department is continuing to investigate the case, within the framework of which all victims’ cases will be studied and their rights will be protected.”
