AstraZeneca vaccine has been allocated 103,920 doses for use by subjects, including: those who have received the first dose of the same type of vaccine and 4 weeks have passed, or those who have not received the first dose of the vaccine. Priority will be given to people over 50 years old, women who are more than 13 weeks pregnant, people with underlying diseases, religious people, industrial park workers, freight workers, students, and people from other provinces who have just returned to the city.
As previously reported, the Hanoi Ministry of Health agreed to the proposal of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC) to shorten the interval between two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to at least 4 weeks. The plan aims to complete the second vaccination as quickly, safely and effectively as possible to meet the needs of epidemic prevention work and form community immunity as soon as possible.

Since the beginning of the fourth outbreak (April 27), Hanoi has accumulated 7,508 confirmed cases. Coronavirus disease (2,752 cases in the community and 4,756 cases in quarantine). In the past two weeks, the city has detected an average of 170 cases per day, and the number of F0 in the community is very high. The peak occurred on November 15, with 289 F0 cases and 47 community cases. The public is advised not to be negligent or subjective, and to carefully follow the 5K information of the Ministry of Health even if they have received 2 doses of the vaccine.
