Pedro Sedeme’s project, called PCSE (Community Project for School Sports), aims to use sports as a tool for civic education and the fight against juvenile delinquency in Goavo Petit. “This project was designed for my hometown, where there are few healthy and educational activities for schoolchildren. I wanted to intervene in my community and participate in training young people,” Pedro explains.

Looking to the future, Pedro is eager to continue his commitment to young people. He wants to build a sports center and a talent development school in the south. “My main goal is to support young people and be a tool to promote the disappearance of crime. With God’s help, I will get there,” he declared.

Pedro Cedeme also has a message for young people and leaders: “I am a living example of perseverance, courage, character and resistance. Whatever your dream is, I invite you to keep working until you make an impact in your community.”

The US Embassy in Port-au-Prince congratulated Pedro Sedeme on its social networks, highlighting the outstanding work he has done in restoring a solid civic foundation within the community through social and sports initiatives.
