PNH : ID card Antoine Joachim has passed away
On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Divisional Inspector (ID) Antoine Joachim passed away. He had been unwell in recent days. Inspector Joachim highlighted his time as head of traffic services of the Haitian National Police (PNH) in the town of Tabarre. The National Union of Haitian Police (SYNAPOHA) welcomes the departure of this hard worker, a true icon of the police institution.

Haiti qualifies for the 2024 Olympics

HIV/TB: 92% of treatment sites are working

Psychosocial activities for displaced children
This week, the Farmers’ Animation and Community Action Centre (CAPAC HaitiI), in partnership with Plan International Haiti, provided a series of psychosocial and recreational activities for 215 children, including 113 girls and 102 boys, through Child Friendly Spaces (EAE). The activities took place in two displaced persons sites in Port-au-Prince: Lycée des Jeunes Filles and Lycée Marie Jeanne, as part of the implementation of the project “Response to the children most affected by the armed conflict in Port-au-Prince”. The project focuses on the protection and basic needs of displaced children and their families and is funded by Dutch Rescue Alliance (DRA) and Irish Aid
