In two weeks, we will complete the formation of the Government Operations Control Body (OCAG), the CEP, the Steering Committee to launch the National Conference and the National Security Council. We strengthen the high command of the PNH and FAd’H with a view to restoring security,” concluded Edgard Leblanc Fils, Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council (CPT).

Haiti’s assessment of the 2024 Paris Olympics
Assessing Haiti’s participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Hans Larsen, president of the Haitian Olympic Committee, explained that the committee “did its best to bring our athletes to Paris despite the difficulties we faced. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of our seven athletes, the support of the state to the federation was not enough.” Larsen remains optimistic about the future, saying that the 2028 Olympics are already in the works. “We have already started the dialogue and steps with the Haitian government. More substantial support is needed so that the federation can support the athletes and their coaches to put them in the best possible condition to prepare and compete in the next Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.”
