It’s a new day for the Guam Sihek birds as they finally arrive at Cooper Island in Palmyra Atoll after a 14-hour flight from Wichita, Kansas. The Nature Conservancy, which owns the island, holds signs along the runway welcoming the Sihek birds. “They must feel right at home here,” said the bird’s owner, Angus.
