Today is Groundhog DayA North American holiday that believes that “if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and cannot see its shadow because the weather is overcast, winter will soon end. If the groundhog sees its shadow on this day because the weather is clear, it will be frightened and run back to its burrow, and winter will continue for another six weeks.”
