OSLO (Reuters) – Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and activists from environmental group Extinction Rebellion blocked a small oil terminal at Norway’s Karlstor gas processing plant on Saturday.

Equinor, the plant’s technical services provider, told Reuters that Karsto’s gas exports to Europe were not affected.

“There are some militants trying to block our offshore oil terminals and some onshore access points,” a company spokesman said.

She added that the oil terminal handles condensate and production is “very small”.
