Singer Green Daddy has called on songstress Azawi not to accuse other musicians of not daring to speak out against corruption in Uganda.
Green Daddy’s comments came after Azzawi criticised her colleagues for their reluctance to speak publicly about the issue.
Green Papa responded by suggesting that Azzawi should restrain his criticism.
He noted that Azzawi did not attend the recent “Match To Parliament” anti-corruption protest, but she continued to blame others.
“Ajawi needs to calm down. She didn’t even join the anti-corruption protests and ended up blaming us” said Green Daddy.
Over the past few months, Azzawi has been publicly expressing her dissatisfaction with certain government services, with the anti-corruption campaign being a focus of her public statements.
