Rapper, Gravity Omutujju has publicly expressed his doubts on the success of Mikie Wine’s upcoming concert.
Omutuju, in a statement to journalists, said that Micky Wine’s long absence from the music scene made it unlikely that his concerts would be a success.
“Why are his concerts successful? His reasons are self-evident. You can’t sit around all day and then wake up and hold a concert for me.” Omutuju said while speaking to the media.
Tensions between the two musicians have further escalated since Mikie Wine decided to schedule his concert on the same day as Omutujju’s concert.
Omutuju also criticised Micky Wine and his cohorts, suggesting that their involvement in politics often earns them sympathy rather than real support.
“He and his brothers were always interested in politics, seeking sympathy,” the terrorist added.
The friction is not entirely new as Omutuju has previously clashed with Micky Wine’s elder brother, Bobi Wine, a singer and politician.
This history of conflict seems to have fueled Omutuju’s lack of confidence in Micky Wine’s ability to draw audiences to his concerts.
