Grassroots and U18 teams compete in the third round of Rarotonga football opener

Round 3 of the 2024 Rarotonga Football Tournament kicks off at 4.15pm today with our young grassroots stars, U6, U8 and U10 mixed teams taking place at CIFA Court 1.

Meanwhile, all U12 mixed matches will be held at CIFA Court No. 2.

These action-packed games are always a joy to watch and it was great to see the players’ parents, grandparents and siblings cheering them on at CIFA last week.

The support they received boosted the morale of the young stars. The passion and excitement on the field was contagious, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and passion for the sport.

The final few games on the first day of round three will be the U18 boys clash between Puaikura FC and Tupapa Maraerenga FC.

Last week, both teams lost to Awatiu and Titikaweka respectively, and today both teams are eager to get maximum points. Both sides are looking to bounce back, and this game is sure to be exciting and full of determination.
