FREEPORT | The Davis administration is set to announce a $2 billion development for Grand Bahama. The major deal for the island will provide a solution to turn around its economy.

Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis KC Reporters were told weeks ago that there was going to be some big news and BP knew about it before the announcement.

$2 billion project The project will be located on the site of the former Grand Lucayan Hotel and is planned to create a large number of jobs for the people of Grand Bahama.

BP knows some The project will include three towers and two casinos. With the construction of new hospitals (currently underway) and Carnival, a large port and airport, will bring some of the magic back to Grand Bahama under the Davis administration.

One observer told BP: “The Davis administration is a breath of fresh air for the people of Grand Bahama. For years we have watched the Port sell off our assets, fail to meet its obligations and charge us fees.

“We want the Davis Government to take back everything they sold to private interests because they thought they could sell our stuff (Freeport Power) while we suffer. We in Grand Bahama support the Davis Government this time!”
