Earlier today, the Inter Gozo Supporters Club organised a blood donation drive for its members at the Xewkija Community Clinic in honour of the club’s 2023-24 championship win.

The event was hosted by club president Joe Bajada, who said: “After Inter’s second star won the 20th Serie A title in the club’s history, the Gozo Supporters Club wanted to do something to give back to the club and help those in need, and it was only fitting that we did this through the blood donation.”

“It’s easy to be someone’s hero and this noble gesture fits very well with the motto of Inter Milan Supporters Club Gozo (Malta) – Small club, big heart,” said Bajada.

While thanking the blood donors, he also called on more supporters to emulate this act of humanity and compassion for others, “because what we get in life depends on how much we are willing to give.”

He said: “Donating a pint of blood can save three lives; one gesture can bring a million smiles.”
