To mark the 34th anniversary of the visit of Pope St. John Paul II to Gozo in 1990, the JP2 Foundation will host a concert featuring Gozo soprano Ruth Portelli on vocals and Dr. Dorielle Bigeni on piano.
The recital will take place at St Joseph’s Parish Church in Qala at 8pm on Saturday, June 8. In the recital, Ruth Botelli will sing a number of songs from her repertoire.
JP2 Foundation said the event was held in full cooperation with the Qala Local Council.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
