The next meeting will be a Gozo conference for Kinder 1 parents: “Skills for Success. School Readiness.”
During the 2024-2025 school year, the toddlers will begin attending Kinder 1 at a primary school affiliated with Gozo College.
The school’s occupational therapy team acknowledges that parents are an important pillar of support when it comes to educating their children and therefore organised two information sessions (one in Maltese and one in English) for parents whose children will be starting Year 1 in October 2024.
The school occupational therapist will focus on the following issues during this meeting:
1. Common issues that many parents face when dealing with children of this age, such as toileting and self-care skills.
2. Important parenting skills early in life that will help you achieve the goals you set for your child.
