A Irish language campaigner in Donegal says the Government needs to do more than pay lip service to the Irish language.
Language planning co-ordinator Líonra Leitir Ceanainn and Bairbre UÍ Chathail made the comments after figures were released this week showing that 13,695 Leaving Cert students did not register to sit Irish exams this year. This is 22.5% of the total.
