U.S. antitrust enforcers claim Alphabet Inc’s Google illegally dominates the market for online advertising technology, and the company must go to trial.
A federal judge ruled at a hearing today, denying Google’s motion.
Google had argued for a victory without a trial, saying antitrust law does not prevent companies from refusing to deal with rivals and that regulators have not accurately defined the ad technology market.
