Hou Miao, Vice President of Tencent Games and General Manager of E-sports, pointed out that the global e-sports industry has developed vigorously in the past 20 years. E-sports was included in the official competition events of the Hangzhou Asian Games for the first time, and it was on par with the intercontinental sports games in terms of live broadcast technology and competition standards.

The first batch of overseas sites of the “Global E-sports Win-win Exchange Program” include Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Paris, France and Japan, where a series of exchange activities will be held. Later, overseas partners will be invited to China to share industry practical experience, explore cooperation methods and cultural exchanges as the primary goals. He added that Tencent E-sports has long held open and customized ecological exchange activities to build a communication platform for domestic and foreign e-sports partners to explore the “blue ocean” of the e-sports industry together.

Hou Miao said that the goal of this plan is to leverage Tencent’s resources and influence, work with domestic and foreign industry partners, and create a wider range of business cooperation opportunities.

In terms of communication, in addition to the e-sports club ecosystem, business scenarios, technical support, ecological platforms and brand sponsors, the discussion will also focus on hardware and software services, IP (BroadCast Unitedlectual property) derivatives, content production and media organizations.
