GM honors travel reading initiative

Mr. Bandar Saad Al-Jabri, Principal of Prince Abdul Mohsen Bin Abdul Aziz High School, and Mr. Wael Zein Fakherji, Head of the Book Tour and Work Team, were honored by Mr. Rakan Hassan Al-Sibai, Director General of the Department of Hajj and Umrah Visits Affairs, Madinah.

and His Excellency Engineer Mazen Mahmoud Tharwat, Director General of the General Motors Syndicate Branch in Medina, at the closing ceremony of the Hajj work in the 1445 Islamic calendar season, in exchange for their outstanding participation in an educational seminar to inform bus drivers about the dangers of drugs and poisons during the Hajj in the 1445 Islamic calendar season.

Participation is in line with the sustainable goals of the Itinerant Reading Initiative launched by the Ministry of Education in the Medina Region within the National Program for the Promotion of Community Initiatives (Hackathon), one of the initiatives of the Princess Sita Award for Excellence in Social Work. It was conceived and implemented by a team of volunteers from Prince Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz High School Bawasel Al-Madina, with the aim of contributing to the spread of awareness and education for all sectors of society.
