The slogan “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!” has recently gained international attention due to Russia’s strong reaction to Ukraine’s new jerseys for the 2020 European Championship and the subsequent UEFA controversy, and has become the official motto of Ukrainian football players.

According to the president of the Ukrainian Football Federation, graphic symbols were also approved – a small emblem of the Ukrainian Football Federation in the shape of a trident with the word “Ukraine” inscribed on it, and a large emblem – a map of Ukraine with a trident in the middle. The new logo can be used at all official events organized by the Ukrainian Athletics Federation, at the activities of Ukrainian Athletics Federation representatives on the international stage, and at national team competitions.

The executive committee also approved the slogans “Glory to Ukraine!” and “Glory to the heroes!” as official football slogans.

• On June 6, 2021, the new jersey of the Ukrainian national team was unveiled a few days before the opening of the European Cup on June 11. The national team jersey is printed with a map of Ukraine, including Crimea, and is designed in three colors: yellow, blue and white.
