A young Ghanaian has strongly opposed the policy implemented by opposition NDC leader John Dramani Mahama that prohibits university freshmen from paying tuition fees.
The young man said in an interview that such a policy is unnecessary.
He said he disagreed with the idea that the government just came up with free stuff without considering the feasibility of implementing the policy.
He pointed out that free SHS was one such policy which the government had implemented without much thought and now the policy was facing many challenges.
He said if the NDC wanted to help Ghanaians, they should discuss how to fix the economy and create jobs so that once people can live comfortably, they can pay their bills.
