RB Leipzig announced today that Antonio Nosa, the Norwegian from Belgian club Club Brugge, has signed a five-year contract extension.
The German club said in a statement that the 19-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract, noting that the Norwegian forward is expected to be replaced by Spanish player Dani Olmo, who has moved to Barcelona.
Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schäfer said that player Antonio Nosa perfectly fits the club’s expectations for the future as he is a young, ambitious player who is eager to develop, and stressed that the Norwegian striker has played nearly 100 professional games and has reserved a place for himself in the ranks of Brugge and the Norway national team, waiting for his glory in Leipzig.
On Saturday, August 24, Leipzig will face Bochum at home in the first round of the new German Football League season (2024-2025).
Leipzig finished fourth in the league last season and will participate in the next Champions League.
