Reuters wrote that the players rode on an open-top bus in Tbilisi before arriving at Freedom Square, where fans greeted them with cheers and applause.
Thousands of enthusiastic Georgian fans gathered in the central square of the country’s capital Tbilisi to welcome the national football team back from the 2024 European Championship after a thrilling debut, Reuters reported.
The publication also wrote about the awarding of football players. In addition, Reuters noted that after Prime Minister Kobakhidze spoke at the event, some participants shouted in dissatisfaction.
