The Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Specialist will provide technical leadership and support to guide the effective integration and achievement of girls’ empowerment, gender equality and social inclusion outcomes in Right To Play (RTP) programming, in line with RTP’s strategic plan and organizational commitments. The GESI Specialist will provide technical guidance on GESI standards and approaches; lead professional development and learning for relevant GESI staff through mentoring, coaching and fostering technical exchange forums; and contribute to GESI strategy development, resource mobilization, advocacy, research and global learning.
The GESI Specialist will support RTP’s Gender Equality Policy, including supporting the development of policy-related monitoring and accountability. The GESI Specialist will report to the Global Technical Lead, Health and Gender Equality, and work closely with a diverse team of programme specialists in the Global Programme Development (GPD) and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) teams at RTP Global Headquarters. The GESI Specialist will work with country office gender specialists and focal points to ensure that GESI is strengthened in all areas of programme design, implementation, evaluation and learning, and achieves impactful social inclusion, gender equality and girls’ empowerment goals and outcomes.
This position will include up to 25% international travel per year.
