The US-based NGO Anera announced on Friday that four Gazans accompanying one of its convoys in the southern Gaza Strip were killed in an Israeli airstrike the previous day.
The Israeli army, for its part, assured that they had carried out a “precision strike” after “armed attackers took control of the lead vehicle of the convoy.” On Wednesday, the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) announced that it would suspend its operations in Gaza after one of its vehicles was hit by Israeli artillery fire the day before.
