Gallery: Clare Health Fair Self-Care raises money and spirit in Letterkenny

There was a lot of positive energy at the Silver Tassie Hotel on Sunday as the Self-Care with Claire wellness fair took place again.

The initiative, led by mindfulness and meditation enthusiast Claire Coughlan, has raised over €1,500 to support Newtown Cunningham Woman Olivia Robb is battling motor neurone disease (MND).

Building on the success of the first event held in 2023, Clare’s event empowered participants to prioritise their wellbeing. More than 30 Donegal businesses showcased their health, fitness and holistic offerings, providing valuable resources for tackling anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges.

Just like a wedding expo, guests browsed booths and listened to helpful talks from local wellness advocates and consultants.

The event also features a raffle with rich prizes, all generously donated by participating businesses.

Clare would like to thank everyone who was involved in making this a successful self-care and wellness event. This included speakers, businesses, attendees, the venue (Silver Tassie Hotel), presenters (Sarah Terry-Sweeney and Michael Brennan) and other supporters (V & M podcasters Vinny McLaughlin and Marty Brogan).

All proceeds will go directly to supporting Olivia, Claire’s good friend and colleague at Penneys Letterkenny.
