On the 273rd day of the war, Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza shifted from defensive operations to direct attacks on Israeli targets.
Hamas’ military wing, the Qassam Brigades, has successfully killed 10 Israeli soldiers at close range in what the group called a “complex operation” in the Shejaiyha neighborhood east of Gaza City.
However, the most dramatic video was released by the Quds Force, which recorded a sneak attack by Israeli soldiers on a house in Shejaiha.
The dramatic scene showed Palestinian fighters opening fire on invading soldiers, followed by the aftermath of the battle.
Here are the latest statements from Gaza’s two main resistance forces and the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah.

Qassam Brigades (Hamas)
“Qassam militants successfully sniped a Zionist soldier near Tarzorob, west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
“Qassam Brigades fired a Yassin 105 shell at a Zionist Merkava 4 tank east of Al-Nazaz Street in the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
“After returning from the battle lines, our fighters reported that they eliminated 10 Zionist soldiers yesterday in a complex operation east of Al-Nazaz Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City.
“They targeted the building where the Zionist militia was stationed and defended it with TBG shells, then advanced towards the target building and eliminated the remaining members of the militia at close range.
“During the retreat, they detonated an explosive device inside the building. Helicopters then intervened and evacuated the dead and wounded soldiers.”
“Qassam Brigades attacked a Zionist Merkava IV tank with a Yassin 105 shell in the middle of Baghdad Street in the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

The Qassam Brigades, in cooperation with the Nasir Salah al-Din Brigades, fired several short-range rockets at enemy command and control positions on the Netzarim axis south of Gaza City.
“A large number of Qassam militants attacked the enemy’s combat command post in the southeast of the Tal Sultan district of Rafah city, using anti-defense shells, anti-personnel shells, sniper weapons and medium machine guns. The operation resulted in the death and injury of several enemy soldiers.”
Quds Force (Islamic Jihad)
“We bombarded Zionist soldier and vehicle positions on the Netzarim axis in southern Gaza City with mortar shells.
“We fired a barrage of mortar shells at the Zionist soldiers stationed at the Rafah crossing.
“We heavily bombarded Zionist soldiers and vehicles advancing in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City with conventional and heavy mortar shells.
“In cooperation with Ansar Brigade, we bombarded enemy troops and vehicles entering the Shuja’iyya neighborhood with mortar shells.
“In a joint operation with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, we bombarded the kibbutz and the enemy’s combat command headquarters in Nahal Oz with rockets.
