The Free Zones General Corporation calls on owners of motor vehicles and lost items covered by Law No. 18 of 2023 to review the Customs Secretariat in the Adra and Aleppo Free Zones and proactively resolve their situations.
The company said it is fully prepared to accept requests and provide all necessary facilities to resolve the situation of motor vehicle owners and lost items in accordance with the provisions of the above-mentioned law.
Law No. (18) of 2023 regulates the customs status of owners of vehicles and goods lost in the Adra and Aleppo free zones and the Joint Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone, which was out of service during the Syrian terrorist war, as it provides that the owners of these vehicles are exempted from civil and criminal liability and the prescribed fines, and they must comply with the applicable customs laws after paying the duties and taxes incurred.
