FORT scientists conduct science planning training for Bureau of Land Management staff

The Bureau of Land Management’s National Landscape Conservation System aims to protect, preserve, and restore nationally significant landscapes. Science is a critical part of this work. The U.S. Geological Survey is working with the Bureau of Land Management to develop a science plan to help set priorities and support scientific efforts to better understand and manage resources in these landscapes.
