Former Attorney General Dr Kiddu Makubuya has passed away after a long battle with illness.
This was confirmed by the family on Monday, August 19, 2024.
He died at the age of 75, but according to close friends, he was a very depressed man.
Makubuya is a former MP for Katikamunan Constituency in Luwero District.
He has held various positions in the government of President Museveni, including: Minister of State for the Luwero Triangle, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (International Cooperation), Minister of Education and Sports, Minister of Justice, Attorney General and General Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office.
He resigned from the cabinet on February 16, 2012.
