Abu Al-Abd, the father of Abdul, is the name of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas who was recently assassinated.

In Arabic culture, the phrase “for your eyes” has a similar meaning to “in your honor.”

In the latest video released by the Qassam Brigades, a Palestinian resistance sniper turns to the camera and shouts: “Abu Abdul, for your eyes.”

Abu Abdul, or Abdul’s father, is the name of the recently assassinated Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh. The fighter in the video dedicated the bullet that killed an Israeli soldier to Haniyeh.

To the left of the Palestinian fighter, there was a note handwritten in Arabic that read: “We put our leaders before our soldiers,” another tribute to the late Palestinian leader.

Here are the latest statements from Gaza’s two main resistance forces and the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah.

These statements were communicated via their Telegram channel and are published here in their original form.
