The Eagles Karate Club won the Zanshin Karate Championship
The next senior category competition, which will be held on August 17-18, 2024, was won by Great Warrior Karate Academy. Among these youngsters aged 6 to 15, Flying Eagle Karate Club won a total of 12 medals.
Flying Eagles Karate Club won medals, including five gold medals, and ranked first, because among the 24 participating teams, Makusho Karate Club won the most medals with 20 medals, but only two gold medals.
They were followed by the Kigali Elite Sports Academy with 5 medals, including 4 golds, the Mukusho Karate Club of Kenya in third place with 20 medals, including 2 golds, and the champion Nyanza team in fourth place with 10 medals, including 2 golds.

Mr. Dieudonne, manager of the Zanshin Karate Academy, said they were satisfied with the progress of the two competitions held this year because in addition to the smooth preparation, every technique went well and they learned that if you prepare early, things will go well. The smooth progress, especially among the young people, made people believe that Rwanda has a good climate for karate.
A total of 315 young athletes participated in the competition.
