Flight delays: Storm and hail damage aircraft in Astana

A strong wind first blew away a container at the airport site, which fell on top of the plane. In addition, hail also caused serious damage to four planes.

According to the airline, its engineers are currently inspecting the damaged aircraft. Repairs may take several days. The airline asks passengers to check flight times in advance before departing for the airport.

— Some of our flights are delayed. Repair work has just started. It is not clear how long this work will last. Because there are inspections to be done first. We will know only after we check the documents and check the extent of the damage.
