WuThe East Flanders prosecutor’s office said a lifeless body was found on Tuesday in Wondelgemse Meersen, a large green area in Wondelgem, in the city of Ghent.
The body was found Tuesday morning near the water, close to a path that winds through the park. The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation but could not provide further information at this time.
As a result of the death, the trail has been closed to pedestrians and cyclists.
